The episode of Pukaar aired on 12 September 2024, begins with an interesting encounter between Vedika and a stranger who carries a camera. As Vedika bumps into this man, he begins to compliment her, leaving her shocked and unsure how to respond. Before Vedika can say anything, both Digvijay and Sagar warmly welcome the stranger, revealing that his name is Viaan.
Sagar, with excitement, decides to introduce Viaan to his fiancée. However, before Sagar can proceed, Viaan shocks everyone by revealing that he has already met her, pointing towards Vedika. Both Vedika and Sagar are taken aback by this misunderstanding and quickly clear it up. They explain that Vedika is not Sagar’s fiancée. Just at that moment, Koel, Sagar’s real fiancée, arrives and introduces herself to Viaan.
After the confusion is cleared, Viaan and Sagar share a few jokes, lightening the atmosphere. Viaan then proceeds to take some photographs of Sagar, Koel, and Digvijay. He invites Vedika to join them in the family photos, but Koel quickly interrupts, insisting that guests should not be included in the pictures at this point. Viaan agrees with Koel’s request but takes a moment to compliment Vedika, assuring her that he isn’t flirting.
The scene shifts to Rajeshwari, who taunts Vedika, accusing her of acting like a family member in front of Viaan. Rajeshwari, then, escorts Viaan away, leaving Vedika feeling awkward. Soon after, Digvijay encounters Vedika near the staircase and questions her actions, but he is interrupted when Lolly calls for him, forcing him to leave.
Vedika takes this opportunity to sneak into Saraswati’s room, suspecting something is wrong. She starts inspecting Saraswati’s medicines, believing that Rajeshwari might be involved in giving her the wrong treatment. Meanwhile, Rajeshwari begins to worry about Vedika’s sudden disappearance. Vedika continues searching through Saraswati’s medicine cabinet, but her investigation is cut short when Mayuri enters the room.
Mayuri, holding her phone, starts to threaten Vedika, but Vedika stands her ground. She taunts Mayuri, reminding her that it was she who stole jewelry during a recent puja. This accusation angers Mayuri, and she drags Vedika in front of Rajeshwari to confront her. Vedika, however, remains confident and accuses Mayuri of being Rajeshwari’s partner in crime. Eventually, Mayuri leaves the scene, followed by Rajeshwari and Digvijay.
Afterward, Koel asks Mayuri about her encounter with Vedika, but Mayuri brushes it off, advising Koel to focus on the wedding rituals instead. As the tension rises, Vedika subtly suggests to Viaan that he should take a photograph of the entire Maheswari family. Viaan happily agrees, and this interaction between Vedika and Viaan irritates Sagar, though he tries to appear unaffected.
Vedika uses the moment to tease Sagar by commenting on how much she enjoys witnessing wedding rituals. Rajeshwari notices the growing connection between Viaan and Vedika and quickly intervenes, taking Viaan away from Vedika.
The Haldi ceremony for Sagar and Koel begins, but right from the start, tensions are high. Rajeshwari announces that she will apply the haldi on Sagar first, which clearly upsets both Sagar and his mother, Subhadra. However, neither of them says anything, choosing to stay silent.
Seeing their discomfort, Digvijay and Rajeshwari put on an act, pretending to encourage Subhadra to apply the haldi on Sagar before anyone else. Subhadra, deeply emotional, eventually gives in and applies the haldi to her son. Soon, the rest of the family follows suit, participating in the ritual.
During this time, Vedika notices that Lolly is on her way to give Saraswati some medicine. Suspecting foul play, Vedika rushes to stop her. In her haste, she accidentally causes Mayuri to fall, which amuses everyone. Embarrassed, Mayuri vows to take revenge on Vedika for humiliating her.
Vedika manages to prevent Lolly from giving Saraswati the medicine, achieving her goal. Once Lolly and Saraswati leave the room, Vedika seizes the opportunity to take the suspicious medicine herself. However, Rajeshwari soon arrives and, sensing Vedika’s intentions, orders her to leave the room. Rajeshwari then realizes that Vedika has caught on to the fact that someone is giving Saraswati the wrong medication and is determined to uncover the truth.
Precap: Mayuri’s impulsive actions lead to a major blunder during the Haldi ceremony. Sagar accidentally applies haldi on Vedika instead of Koel, leaving everyone in shock. Following the incident, Sagar pleads with Vedika to stay away from his wedding rituals, which sets the stage for more drama in the coming episodes.
