The episode begins with Suman desperately requesting Purna for money to cover Hema’s medical expenses. He looks directly at Kritika and accuses her of being involved, demanding to know who caused the accident.
Chandrashekhar, taken aback, questions how Kritika could have been involved. Teerth reveals that Suman witnessed Kritika fleeing the scene of the accident, making her the prime suspect. Devika, in disbelief, immediately defends her sister. She angrily questions Teerth, asking how he could blame Kritika without any solid proof. Teerth insists that Hema is fighting for her life, while Devika seems more focused on protecting Kritika.
Devika challenges Teerth, asking if he has any real evidence against her sister. Teerth claims that Suman’s eyewitness account is enough, along with the fact that Kritika’s car was found at the accident scene. However, Devika dismisses his claims, stating that Kritika was with her at the time of the incident. She accuses Teerth of prioritizing his relationship with Kritika over the facts, adding that he had agreed to marry her in front of their father.
Despite Devika’s defense, Teerth remains adamant, insisting that Kritika should accompany him to the police station for further investigation. However, Devika intervenes and stops him. Chandrashekhar supports Devika, stating that his sister-in-law (Suman) wouldn’t lie. Teerth counters this, stating that Suman also wouldn’t lie, and she clearly saw Kritika at the scene. Devika is adamant that no one, not even her own sister, can tarnish the family’s reputation. She then pulls Kritika away, leaving the room in frustration.
While all this drama unfolds, Suman arrives at Purna’s house, still under the impression that she is there to collect the money for Hema’s treatment. However, when she arrives, it is Purna’s son who answers the door and reveals his true identity. Suman is shocked and horrified as he tries to take advantage of her. In self-defense, Suman attacks him and manages to escape, running out of the house just as Purna arrives. Purna is shocked to witness the situation, but Suman doesn’t stick around to explain.
Suman rushes to the hospital, where she tells her family that she was unable to gather the money for Hema’s operation. Just then, Teerth arrives and reassures her that she no longer needs to worry about the funds. Suman is furious when she sees Kritika with Teerth. He explains that it was not Kritika who was driving the car, but her driver, who fled the scene out of fear. Kritika apologizes to Suman for the misunderstanding, but Suman remains upset. Teerth tends to Suman’s injury, much to Kritika’s dismay.
Purna soon arrives at the hospital as well, pretending to care about Hema’s condition. She offers to cover the expenses for Hema’s surgery and takes Suman aside to speak privately. Teerth and Rishi grow suspicious of Purna’s intentions. Alone with Suman, Purna asks her to punish her son for his misconduct, giving her permission to physically discipline him. Purna forces her son to apologize to Suman for his actions, and then she offers the money for Hema’s surgery again. However, Purna has an ulterior motive—she asks Suman to sign an agreement in exchange for the money.
Just as Suman is about to sign the document, Teerth arrives and stops her in the nick of time. The episode ends on this suspenseful note, leaving viewers wondering what will happen next in Suman’s ongoing struggle.
