Meanwhile, Devika is upset and tells Chandrakant that Suman has messed everything up. She complains that Suman has made claims about missing food, suggesting that someone stole her food. Devika argues that they shouldn’t have given the catering order to Suman. She believes Suman will ruin their family’s reputation. Teerth, listening to Devika, feels frustrated. He has warned Suman multiple times not to interfere in his matters, but she continues to meddle. Chandrakant responds by saying that Devika actually saved his reputation today. Although Suman caused trouble, Devika stepped in to fix it. He notes that she pretends to have done it all for him, using the opportunity to provoke him against Suman.
Devika then encourages Geethanjali to smile, claiming she has everything under control. However, she notices Kritika being close to Teerth and recalls the moment when Teerth dressed Suman’s ring finger. The priest had told them it was an auspicious time for engagement, saying that whoever gets engaged at this time will be connected for seven lifetimes. Devika thinks that Kritika is meant for Teerth.
Gupta approaches Devika and asks what’s troubling her. Devika confides that Suman is the source of her stress. Gupta advises her to forget about Suman and not waste time on someone he considers unimportant. Devika insists that she wants to show Suman her rightful place. Chandrakant complains that Suman almost ruined his reputation again. He praises Devika for saving it. Devika angrily calls for security to throw Suman and Rishi out. Suman protests, claiming she came to congratulate the couple. Teerth steps in and tells his father not to throw them out, stating that Suman and Rishi are his guests. Chandrakant reluctantly agrees, but Devika seems furious.
Suman then suggests they all eat the ladoo first, mentioning that it’s now a trend to eat ladoos before an engagement. Devika quickly realizes that this is a tactic to undermine her. As Suman tries to emotionally convince Kritika to eat it, saying it symbolizes unity for seven lifetimes, Devika grows more anxious. Kritika, however, takes a bite.
Suddenly, Kritika notices hidden snacks inside the ladoo and asks about them. Suman snatches it away and reveals that it proves Devika tampered with the ladoo. She then shows the secret message inside, which indicates that Devika had prepared that ladoo. Suman accuses Devika of stealing her food and giving it to another catering service. The atmosphere becomes charged as Akhil and Ridhi shout accusations at Devika, raising the stakes of the situation even higher.
