In the episode of Yeh Hai Chahatein aired on 12th September 2024, the story unfolds with Pradyumna and Nitya discussing their ongoing issues. Pradyumna asks Nitya not to worry about him, confidently stating that he is not foolish like her. He claims to be someone who plays big games and reassures her that he has his trump card ready. Pradyumna confidently adds that Arjun and Kaashvi will not reunite, leaving Nitya feeling troubled as she goes inside. However, Pradyumna’s thoughts reveal that he is planning something significant and dangerous.
Meanwhile, Meera confronts Vikram, accusing him of ruining three lives. She points out that even though Nitya has been exposed, Arjun is still not divorcing her. Meera is frustrated and unsure of what to do next. Vikram, sensing her distress, tries to comfort her. He believes that Arjun is not divorcing Meera for Karun’s sake, though this leaves Meera even more confused. Vikram advises her to accept that Arjun wants to stay with her and tells her to focus on being happy for the sake of the baby. However, Meera is still worried, wondering why Arjun and Kaashvi have not reunited despite all the revelations.
Pradyumna, on the other hand, decides to take action and kidnaps Meera. Shocked and terrified, Meera threatens to call the police. Pradyumna calmly asks her to relax, explaining that Vikram had told her to stay with Arjun even though he knew she was unhappy. He then drops a bombshell on Meera by revealing that he knows she is pregnant with Mohan’s child. This revelation shocks Meera to the core.
Pradyumna further explains that Mohan had died because of Karun, and it was for this reason that Arjun married Meera—to protect Karun. Meera is stunned by this news and asks Pradyumna if Vikram had blackmailed Arjun into marrying her. Pradyumna confirms that Karun was responsible for Mohan’s death, leading to a chain of events that forced Arjun into a difficult situation. He emphasizes that Meera’s child will grow up without a father because of Karun’s actions.
At this point, Meera, overwhelmed by anger and grief, declares that Karun must die. Pradyumna, sensing an opportunity, tells her they will come up with a plan to achieve their goal.
Meanwhile, Kaashvi has her own struggles to face. She hands over her resignation letter to Ronak, with the intention of leaving Faridabad for Karun’s sake. Arjun, noticing this sudden move, questions her decision. He asks her why she is going to Delhi when everything seems to be fine now. Neelam, curious about why Pradyumna brought Meera there, is soon shocked when Meera declares that Karun must die. Pradyumna reveals his plan to shift to Delhi in two days, which surprises Neelam. Meera then suggests they throw a farewell party, but secretly she has a more sinister plan in mind.
Pradyumna, sensing something unusual, asks Meera why she wants to kill both Arjun and Karun. Meera, filled with resentment, explains that Arjun hid the truth about Karun from her, which is why she wants them both dead.
Later in the episode, Meera carries out her dangerous plan. She mixes poison into Karun’s food, and after consuming it, Karun faints. Arjun arrives at the scene, horrified to find Karun unconscious. Meera coldly announces that Karun is dead, leaving Arjun in shock.
The episode ends on a chilling note, with the precap revealing that Pradyumna will assist Meera in killing both Arjun and Karun.
