This lack of connection has left Abhira feeling disconnected from her roots. Armaan, ever supportive, offers to help Abhira track down her maternal relatives. In contrast, Kaveri harbors cruel intentions. She wants Abhira to feel isolated and alone during this important event, hoping that the absence of a maternal family will leave her humiliated.
The emotional strain gets to Abhira, leading to an angry outburst directed at Armaan. She declares that she does not need a family that never cared for her mother or made any attempt to reach out to her. With determination, Abhira insists that she will handle the rasam on a budget, despite the odds stacked against her. She is fiercely independent and does not want to depend on anyone, especially those who were absent from her life.
During this conversation, Ruhi acts out, showing her resentment toward Abhira. When Armaan tries to defend her, Abhira steps in, saying that she won’t invite Manish to the rasam, but anyone else is free to do so if they wish.
The next morning arrives, and Abhira prepares for the rasam. The gifts are arranged, and Abhira has the shagun envelopes ready. However, as expected, Kaveri begins her taunts. The situation takes a darker turn when Abhira, overwhelmed with emotion, drops the shagun envelopes. Ruhi, filled with anger and jealousy, slaps Abhira in front of everyone. Manish reacts coldly to this shocking scene, and in a fit of rage, Ruhi screams that Abhira is the daughter of a murderer, claiming that Akshara was responsible for the death of her own parents. Ruhi accuses Abhira of stealing Armaan’s love, just as Akshara supposedly ruined everything.
As the drama unfolds, Abhira is left devastated. Armaan tries to comfort her, but Abhira makes a heartbreaking decision. She removes her engagement ring and declares that the past has created too many barriers between her and Ruhi. She cannot move forward, knowing the pain and conflict it would cause. In a tearful moment, Abhira announces that she will not marry Armaan and leaves the event, shattered by the harsh revelations.
