The episode starts with Armaan tells his mother that he agrees to her condition, and that he and Abheer will leave the house. A stunned Abheer asks Armaan what he’s saying. Armaan explains that if leaving the house is required to keep everyone happy, then he will do it. As he takes Abheer away, the rest of the family looks on in shock and emotion.

Abheer tries to talk to her mother, but Armaan firmly says, “No, that’s final.” She argues, saying she has the right to make decisions for her own life, but Armaan angrily breaks a glass and responds, “Do you want us to stay in the same house, upset with each other?” Armaan’s frustration turns into emotional vulnerability after a few days.

Abheer tries to console him, saying they can convince his mother if they stay together, but Armaan disagrees, saying it’s difficult to live with the family. He says that though he’s known as Armaan Poddar, the lawyer, his true identity is that of his mother’s son.

In another scene, Sanjay talks to Kavya, expressing that though the family is sad, it’s best for Armaan and Abheer to leave. He recalls how before the wedding, Kavya had warned that anger toward Abheer would be sharper than a sword. Now, they realize that her warning came true as Armaan and Abheer have been forced to leave the house. Kavya wanted to keep the family together, which is why she had Abheer sign a contract. Sanjay agrees but wonders what they can do now. Meanwhile, they both begin to stir negative feelings toward Abheer, hinting that the real son of the house is Rohit, not Armaan.

Meanwhile, an emotional Armaan apologizes to Abheer for not being able to fix things, telling her they should pack. Abheer tries to give Armaan’s childhood memories to his mother before they leave, saying she’s only taking a photo with her, and reminding her mother-in-law of the bond they once shared. Abheer reflects on the broken promises but leaves without returning the bracelet she was given.

The next morning, Armaan prepares to leave. As he says goodbye to the family, they try to stop him, but he’s determined. Kavya pulls his bag, and everyone hopes she’s stopping him, but instead, she offers him and Abheer yogurt and sugar as a good luck gesture, wishing them well for their new beginning.

The family notices that Kavya is missing, and they become worried. Suddenly, they see servants bringing some items and a priest arrives, shocking everyone when he says he’s there for a last rite ceremony.

Precap: Kavya gives Abheer a letter offering her a job at Poddar Firm, saying it would give her and Armaan time to spend together. Armaan asks if Abheer will accept the offer, and she wonders aloud whether she should take the job, knowing that either choice would upset someone—either his mother or Dadi. She’s left confused about what to do.
